Huobi Pool Launches CKB (Nervos) Mining

Huobi Pool officially launched CKB (Nervos) test network mining pool, on which miners can mine CKB (Nervos).

The CKB (Nervos) mining algorithm is Ealgesong, which currently support N-card and A-card mining.

The 5th session of test network mining is coming. During the event, the miners can participate in the CKB (Nervos) test network mining contest through Huobi Pool. All CKB (Nervos) mined during the contest shall be converted to main network CKB (Nervos) based on a certain proportion , then recorded in the miner's mining address. They will be released once CKB (Nervos) main network goes online (in the 4th quarter of 2019).

Details on the 5th session of mining contest on Nervos test network:
This session of mining contest is divided into several phases, each phase lasts 2 weeks, first reward: 12,000,000 CKB
Contest time and Reward: 6 weeks in total, divided into 3 phases, each phase lasts 2 weeks;

Phase I
Start: 2019.10.5 14:00 (GMT+8)
End: 2019.10.19 14:00 (GMT+8)
First prize: 12,000,000 CKB

Phase Il
Start: 2019.10.19 14:00 (GMT+8)
End: 2019.11.2 14:00 (GMT+8)
Second prize: 15,000,000 CKB

Phase III
Start: 2019.11.2 14:00 (GMT+8)
End: 2019.11.16 14:00 (GMT+8)
Third prize: 18,000,000 CKB

Reward scheme:
The final result will count all the main chain block during the competition period. In CKB, the block reward contains four parts, only base reward will be calculated during the competition, to guarantee the fairness.

Considering that CKB wallet is a command line wallet at present, it is difficult for some users to use it. In addition to the wallet address, Huobi Pool also supports mining with mobile phone number. After the main network goes online, we will contact you via mobile phone to distribute contest rewards.

Due to uncertainties during our testnet, the final result will be calculated according to the propotion of base reward each address mined. For example, during the competition if there’s totally 10M tokens’ base reward, Alice’s address get 1M tokens via base reward, then Alice can get 1/10 of the total mainnet token reward.

Notes: Please download mining wallet from Nervos official website, and your CKB on main network will be converted to main network wallet at a later time.
